If you want to have the best coffee made at home, the key is to throw away all your store bought coffee creamers and make your own! I used to buy every new coffee creamer available just to try and find the one. Some came close to perfection, but this is it.

It’s simple, cheap to make, tastier, and it doesn’t have a whole list of ingredients you can’t pronounce. You only need to grab 3 things from the store to make it. It took me a few tries and lots of research to get to this recipe which is perfect for my taste.

Which brings me to the coffee. My coffee machine recently broke and I’ve been trying to decide on a new one. If you are anything like me, one of the joys in life is coffee. It takes loads of time to research deciding on a brand and type. In the meantime, I wanted to try a ready-made coffee that is shelf stable with no preservatives or additives. I am hooked!

Wandering Bear Coffee Cold Brew Tap Box in Caramel

Wandering Bear Coffee makes having your favorite cold brew ready in seconds right from your own fridge. This is the list of ingredients: Filtered water, 100% Fair Trade organic Arabica coffee from central Peru, organic natural flavor. That’s it. It’s a strong brew too (~2 espressos per cup) so you will definitely get your caffeine fix while still enjoying the smoothest cold brew. Also I’d like to note that Wandering Bear Coffee Containers are 100% recyclable and the bags are BPA-free plastic and FDA-grade food safe, since using BPA-free plastic is really important to me.

There are currently six flavors to choose from: Straight Black, Vanilla, Caramel, Mocha, Decaf Black, and Toasted Coconut. I tried the Caramel and when I tell you this cold brew is a million times better than getting it at a certain chain of coffee shops! The notes of caramel are subtle yet rich. It tastes like you got it from outside and not from the convenience of your own home. If you have it all on it’s own it is Keto Friendly, Paleo Friendly, and Vegan. Personally I find the best way to enjoy this fantastic cold brew is with this easy homemade coffee creamer but there’s endless flavor possibilities so you can tweak this recipe to your liking.

You can save 10% by subscribing to Wandering Bear Coffee and receiving your box right to your door every month if you’d like to try it out! One box contains 16 glasses of cold brew which comes out to $2.25 per glass. This creamer costs around $5 to make and that comes out to $0.31 per serving. So for $2.56 per serving, you’ll be saving money rather than purchasing from a coffee shop. To me, that’s totally worth it. With all the coffees on the market Wandering Bear Coffee is one of the best I’ve had.

Check out the recipe to this homemade coffee creamer below!
