This dessert is another treat made from my sister Natasha. And let me tell you, this galette is amazing. I can safely say that it’s one of my new favorite desserts.
The crust is perfection. It’s flaky and buttery and incredible. The apples have just the right touch of cinnamon. And do not get me started on the whiskey salted caramel sauce. Best. Caramel. Ever.
My sister made this to bring over to my grandparents’ house and everyone loved it. Unfortunately, we only got one shot of the galette before we chowed down. I don’t have a picture of the amazing whiskey salted caramel sauce or the ice cream we put on top. 🙁 But trust me when I say don’t skip the caramel and ice cream! It is so darn good.
Excuse my gushing, but as you can probably tell I really loved this dessert! Thanks to Natasha for making this lovely galette. 🙂
